WE EXCITED TO SHARE OUR MISSION
We are committed to educating a diverse group of students who will become compassionate natural alternative and functional medicine doctors with excellent clinical skills, ready to take on the challenges of tomorrow’s health care.
Every part of our curriculum has been designed to ensure that our students gain a deep understanding of their patient’s needs, how their communities, families, culture, and experiences impact their health, and the skills to advocate for their patients, now, and in the future. We are committed to recruiting a diverse student body and having an inclusive educational environment through our distance education programs.
We are a leader in the education for alternative medicine as our students at UIH have distinguished educational experiences, including early holistic clinical exposure, problem/team-based learning, an integrated curriculum with multiple research/clinical opportunities, and a plethora of diverse clinical rotations across the state. We offer several areas of scholarly concentrations that allow students to gain knowledge and experience in non-specialty-based areas of functional medicine. UIH is committed to enabling students to achieve their maximum potential by collaborating with them to enhance their educational experiences.
We are now accepting applications. We invite you to learn more about our curriculum and our approach to training today’s natural integrative doctors to meet tomorrow’s challenges. We look forward to learning more about you.
